ATTN: YELLING PARENTS

This challenge is for any parent who YELLS at their kid. YELLING is an ineffective way of communicating when you are upset with your kid. While it may be effective in the short term, long term it’s not good for your relationship and authority. Your child learns that it’s okay to yell and the only time to respond to you is when you yell.

THE CHALLENGE

Accept the Don’t Yell!!! Challenge by finding other ways to communicate with your kid other than yelling.. Post your pictures and videos of what you did instead of yelling at your kid on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter. Tag @midwestanxiety and use #mwadontyell so we can cheer you on.
